SV	Toen maakte de koning Daniel groot, en hij gaf hem vele grote geschenken, en hij stelde hem tot een heerser over het ganse landschap van Babel, en een overste der overheden over al de wijzen van Babel.

Trans.	’ĕḏayin maləkā’ ləḏānîyē’l rabî ûmatənān raḇərəḇān śagî’ān yəhaḇ-lēhh wəhašələṭēhh ‘al kāl-məḏînaṯ bāḇel wəraḇ-siḡənîn ‘al kāl-ḥakîmê ḇāḇel:

AC	מח אדין מלכא לדניאל רבי ומתנן רברבן שגיאן יהב לה והשלטה על כל מדינת בבל ורב סגנין--על כל חכימי בבל
ASV	Then the king made Daniel great, and gave him many great gifts, and made him to rule over the whole province of Babylon, and to be chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon.
